"Shine inside of me which  I ignore. But still shines. Oh, my beauty, even though you never surrendered completely something I manage to have.” (Odysseas Elitis- Nobel prize 1977)

(Pre-conference, April 22-25. Conference, April 25-29)

We are delighted to welcome you to the 2012 EEEurope in Greece. Our vision for this year gathering is to become an opportunity for celebrating at the place where great experiential educators such as Plato and Aristotle were born. We look forward to welcoming all the friends, old and new, friends from throughout and beyond Europe. If you have taken part before, expect some changes as well as some pleasant surprises.

The conference, as well as the workshops, is mainly   formed by the participants. This will remain for 2012 in Greece. It will be once again a unique meeting place for experiential educators, trainers, therapists and others who are interested in sharing, discussing and challenging their knowledge, methods and techniques.

The broad and stretchable banner of 'experiential education' will be in place waiting for everyone to create together a programme that will please most of the people most of the time. We wish to celebrate the spirit of community that shares common goals and learning!

If you have any questions, remarks, wishes etc, please feel free to e-mail us. We will be happy to receive your input and we will answer your questions as quickly as possible.

The hosts, the organising team and the  people involved

Angeliki Plouma and Sotiria Tsiotra are excited to be hosting this 16th EEEurope conference in Greece. Fanis Tzalas as an EEE member has actively involved in the process of selecting and negotiating with the venue offering his business expertise. In our team, during the preparation stage of the event (up to now), have also participated Professor Nikolaos Tzokas, Former Dean of the Business School at the University of East Anglia,  Mr. Nicholas Vagiakakos, Personal & Systemic Development Trainer & Therapist and Mrs Penelope Anastasakis business and organizational consultant. Barbara Babnik from Slovenia was continuously supporting us by giving advice, feedback, suggestions and emotional support. Michael Rehm from Germany was also helpful in the process, by giving precious feedback whenever asked for.

The organising group is open. We invite each member of EEE willing to offer their help to inform us. Soon, we will announce the specific fields where we need support so that each one of you have a clear idea of the type of input you may provide. We also thank all the people that they have already offered to help!

If you are bringing a car, please let us know in case you  can help with transport.
